This weekend I travelled to New York City for to cover the 2008 IFBB New York Pro bodybuilding contest for Muscletime. I met with up with my friend Raymond Cassar, the man responsible for all the great photography on the Muscletime website. Raymond took approximately 1,600 bodybuilding photographs during the show, some of which have already been uploaded.

I had some free time to hang out with the pink naked mannequins at Macy’s and walk around Manhattan.

My friend author Anthony Roberts met up with me for lunch between the bodybuilding contest prejudging and finals; he told me about his forthcoming book “Generation S.” The “S” stands for “steroids” of course

Muscletime did not get press passes for this contest, so it was a little bit more challenging to cover the contest for our fans. But Raymond managed to get some great shots; and I managed some impromptu live streaming video of prejudging and finals. The quality of the prejudging was pretty good, but I was able to get close enough to stage at finals for satisfactory video of night show
