Life on Steroids

I only had fifteen minutes to spare at Muscle Beach - not quite enough time for a real work out - but I had to lift some iron at the historic spot. So, after a couple of quick warm up sets, I pulled two reps with 500+ lbs. for a photo (and video)

We stayed at the Cadillac Hotel, which for the bodybuilding fan is ideally located on Venice Beach; it is two blocks from the Firehouse Restaurant and only a few more blocks from Muscle Beach and Gold’s Gym Venice the Mecca of Bodybuilding too. And even better, it was right next to a film production set that [...]

I hope to have the chance to ask him a couple of questions about his (predictable) positions on anabolic steroids legislation; USA Today asked Clinton, Obama and McCain about steroids and sports recently.
And while I had [...]

This weekend I travelled to New York City for to cover the 2008 IFBB New York Pro bodybuilding contest for Muscletime. I met with up with my friend Raymond Cassar, the man responsible for all the great photography on the Muscletime website. Raymond took approximately 1,600 bodybuilding photographs during the show, some of which have [...]
